    I am reaching out to suggest an enhancement to the DoIT console that would greatly benefit large organisations with multiple BUs, particularly those that have grown through acquisitions.

    Issue Summary:
    Currently, users must log in separately to each domain within the DoIT console to manage cloud resources and costs. This can be cumbersome for teams that oversee cloud management across various business units within a single company. The need to log out and log back in for each domain creates inefficiencies and complicates the management process.

    I am reaching out to request the addition of a new feature that would greatly enhance the management capabilities within our customers' engineering teams.

  4. Hi Team,

    would it be possible to have a summary in plain english of what is the expectations for my Alerts setup? Ideally a feature that looks at my Alerts configurations (both Budgets and Cost Alerts) and describes in plain english that I should receive an email when X happens, Y happens, etc. in a single pane of glass. It would be great to set expectations and avoid misconfigurations of customer alerts

  5. Hello Product Team,

    I am writing to submit a feature request to address a critical issue we are facing with the management of AWS Root Account email notifications for multiple orgs under our management.

    Issue Summary:
    Currently, when we onboard subsidiaries and assign dedicated AWS Management Account Root email addresses, all notifications are being directed to the same mailbox.     It would be very interesting to develop a feature that enables customers to prioritise their cost saving opportunities based on potential financial benefits and to assess these opportunities within an effort matrix for better decision-making alongside the Insight feature.

    Feature => Cost savings evaluation tool:
    It would be a complementary tool with Insights that allows customers to input data and receive an estimation of the financial benefits from the insights and recommendations provided.

  9. The customer reports that there is something wrong with the cost anomaly tool, and that they are receiving false alarms every day.
    Because of this and the alert fatigue they plan to disregard Cost Anomalies moving forward, despite getting a lot of value from it in the past.

  11. We have set up Budgets in the DoiT console, and unfortunately, the alert notification isn't as complete as the existing AWS Budget with a breakdown of services.
    DoiT requires logging into the Console to view Budget Details, which is not that user-friendly for the following reasons:
    - The recipient requires access to the DoiT console.
    - To view the service breakdown, it requires investigating the budget and generating the report to view the usage breakdown.

  14. Every project that was billed in an invoice should stay as is in the reports, regardless of the current sate of the billing profile and accounts/projects assigned to.

    Currently, when using the "Invoice" chip, one needs to select the invoice bucket/billing profile. If a project/account has been removed in the meantime, even when selecting time range when project/account xxx was present - it does not show in the report, as the Invoice filter takes into account only projects/account already present in the billing prifle/invoice bucket

Upon reviewing our usage statistics, we have noticed that there are numerous tables within our BigQuery environment that have been inactive for an extended period, some dating back more than three months. These unused tables are not only occupying valuable storage space but also incurring unnecessary costs for our organization.

  17. Customer is using the multi organizational features and would like for the admins to be able to create reports and share them to specific organizations with in their tenant. This would allow them to easily create reports for the individual org and share them out to the correct groups of users.

  18. When a customer has overdue invoices, Navigator shows a top banner with a warning to all signed-in users: "Overdue and outstanding invoices - We are unable to renew your Cloud subscription. Please pay overdue invoices or you may not be able to use these services."

    A customer that has that banner while working with DoiT's teams to resolve the payment issue (transfers applied incorrectly to invoices, nothing overdue) suggested that the banner shouldn't be shown to all users or should be made configurable as it raises unnecessary repeated questions for them internally.

  19. New legal requirements mean more companies need to report on the carbon footprint of their cloud usage. AWS' own tool is often incorrect, and Azure's is difficult to use plus it requires customers to go into PowerBI. Ideally this would be something Navigator could support in our own reporting view.
