    Summary:
    Customers require access to granular and raw AWS cost and usage data that mirrors the level of detail found in AWS's Cost and Usage Report (CUR).
    The current DoiT console and API provide aggregated data, which lacks some of the required keys present in AWS CUR, such as 'usage start' and 'usage end' dates. Additionally, the inability to fetch the full dataset with a single query
    needs to run multiple requests and merging, which is not ideal and raises concerns about potential performance issues.

  2. Customer wishes they could annotate reports in the console so they can mark which month eg. they made a specific change in their infrastructure. This way dips or spikes that were expected could be clarified in reports with a little note.

  3. Customer is leveraging custom dashboards by team and would like to be able to use the Cost Anomaly widget to filter by the team specific attribution to only show Cost Anomalies by that specific team.

  5. It will be very useful for customers and internal teams (CRE/TAM/AM) if we add context (link to original insight, screenshot, insight text, potential saving, project names) when a customer clicks the "Contact Support"

Today, every time we're duplicating the Navigator tab in the browser while we're in cost report and already defined some filters, it's being opened as a new report and doesn't save the filters we applied in the original report. I'd like to get the exact same view of the cost report in Cloud Navigator as in the original tab.

  7. Customers often receive monthly subscriptions or charges for cloud services on the 1st of each month, such as Cognito, IAM Analyzer, or backups. These charges frequently trigger cost anomaly alerts, causing unnecessary panic and notifications in Slack channels or emails. Instead of treating these as cost anomalies, it would be more appropriate to classify them as 'Monthly Cost Awareness' or 'Monthly Charges by SKU,' as they are expected expenses rather than anomalies.

  8. Hello Team,

    The customer would like to be able to Filter/ Group by 'Service Item' level, which would provide higher granularity than the existing 'Service', grouping the specific Service costs into subcategories that make more sense to FinOps teams than Service or SKU levels.

    On EC2 example, this would be sub categories such as:
    EC2 Compute, EC2 Transfer, EC2 NAT Gateway Usage etc.

    This granularity would be something that shows the cost specificities linked to a certain Service.

    Setting up these 'Service Items' would be extremely manual in Cloud Navigator within Attributions, hence it makes more convenient for the customer…

  9. We are a group of companies sharing a common DoIT console space.
    Each company has a unique billing profile. Each company has one or more Google billing accounts associated with its billing profile.
    We need the administrators of each company to be able to view and configure their own invoices, billing profiles, etc., but not those of other companies.
    They currently have administrator privileges and can view and modify the invoices and all settings for all companies. We would like to associate administrator rights with a specific billing profile so that administrators can only view and modify what is linked…

  12. Customer problem:

    Currently, to set up a subscription to a report, the configuration is done through a cron syntax, which is sometimes not very intuitive or easy to use. With this project, we want to improve and simplify the subscription process so that our customers don’t miss out on anything!

  15. Right now all Marketplace spend is grouped under a single line item on our GCP invoices but some months we have 40%+ of our bill in Marketplace spend. I'd like to be able to see all of the marketplace line items separately on the invoice.

  16. I would it look better if we added logos next to Lens? For example, AWS Lens :aws: and GCP Lens :gcp_new:. It's not a burning issue, but I believe it would enhance the appearance. Also, it will be helpful when you create Custom Dashboards as well. I see them on Home screen but not when we click on Dashboard tab. Thanks.

  17. Interactive UI, similar to CHT or Vantage that lets you click on a service and automatically show you the drill down if the consumption. In addition, the reporting shows your current consumption vs last months exact time frame.

  18. AWS has the option to pay for more updated data in Cost Explorer. When a customer already pays for this, they would like to see it available in Navigator reporting.

  20. I want an alert whenever there's a daily spike of more than X $ in an aws account/gcp project. And I want that for all accounts, without specifying the account name. Meaning, if a new account/project is created, the anomaly alert will catch it.
