Support Cloud Carbon Footprint Reporting
New legal requirements mean more companies need to report on the carbon footprint of their cloud usage. AWS' own tool is often incorrect, and Azure's is difficult to use plus it requires customers to go into PowerBI. Ideally this would be something Navigator could support in our own reporting view.

The new FinOps report for 2025 has mentioned that Carbon Reporting is a need, especially in the EU with 53% of European practices reporting Carbon.
PerfectScale has capabilities for carbon reporting - we should consider if we should bring this to DCI to help with the needs of business who report carbon impacts.

"When we look at how many practitioners report metrics on Cloud Sustainability we see that overall globally it has remained very similar to last year with a 1% difference.53% of European practices (an 18% increase from last year) are now reporting carbon, but this increase is slower than was predicted in 2024. North America, which had the largest segment of respondents, remained flat YoY at 29% of those reporting cloud carbon.
15% of global practices are making optimizations based on cost. Only 3% of FinOps practices are making optimizations based on carbon considerations."

Customer KAROS has internal KPI to optimize carbon inprint. they wish to have such a dashboard/ report in DCI platform or a way to connect these data to DCI to monitor it

With the newly introduced DataHub, it would be great if we could provide connectors for easy ingestion of cloud sustainability data:
