  1. Hi Team, would it be possible to add a "Test Alert" button for Cost and Budget Alerts. This allows customers to verify if the channel is working correctly without altering the logic of their alerts.

    A service/feature designed to proactively notify customers about important updates and news related to their specific cloud services: this could include notifications about service advisories (such as deprecations, price or limit changes), breaking changes, training opportunities, and other critical information. The notifications would be filtered based on the services the customer uses and may require customer acknowledgment for important updates, similar to what we have on “Insights” or “Cloud Incidents”.
    This could serve as a communication distribution tool for CEP101.

  3. Be able to ingest AWS Health events from the Master Payer Account and linked AWS accounts and show them in the Cloud Incident panel.

    If possible, be able to read each customer's MPA email to extract any notifications we might come up with. eg: Abuse reports, Automated alerts sent via email

  4. Hello Bonjour dear Product Team,

    I am reaching out to suggest an enhancement to the DoIT console that would greatly benefit large organisations with multiple BUs, particularly those that have grown through acquisitions.

    Issue Summary:
    Currently, users must log in separately to each domain within the DoIT console to manage cloud resources and costs. This can be cumbersome for teams that oversee cloud management across various business units within a single company. The need to log out and log back in for each domain creates inefficiencies and complicates the management process.

  5. When a customer has overdue invoices, Navigator shows a top banner with a warning to all signed-in users: "Overdue and outstanding invoices - We are unable to renew your Cloud subscription. Please pay overdue invoices or you may not be able to use these services."

    A customer that has that banner while working with DoiT's teams to resolve the payment issue (transfers applied incorrectly to invoices, nothing overdue) suggested that the banner shouldn't be shown to all users or should be made configurable as it raises unnecessary repeated questions for them internally.

    I am reaching out to request the addition of a new feature that would greatly enhance the management capabilities within our customers' engineering teams.
    I have a customer, he is an Engineering Manager, and he has encountered limitations in overseeing and managing the reports, dashboards, and alerts created by members of my team.

  7. Issue: trying to query large and granular datasets from the Billing data source.
    This is not possible without pagination since the rate limit and payload size limit are insufficient to do it in scale.
    Pagination is already implemented in other endpoints in the analytics API but not in the endpoint that will be most affected by it.

    It would be very interesting to develop a feature that enables customers to prioritise their cost saving opportunities based on potential financial benefits and to assess these opportunities within an effort matrix for better decision-making alongside the Insight feature.

    Feature => Cost savings evaluation tool:
    It would be a complementary tool with Insights that allows customers to input data and receive an estimation of the financial benefits from the insights and recommendations provided.

  9. New legal requirements mean more companies need to report on the carbon footprint of their cloud usage. AWS' own tool is often incorrect, and Azure's is difficult to use plus it requires customers to go into PowerBI. Ideally this would be something Navigator could support in our own reporting view.

  10. Customers have requested a tool that would help them to better forecast their costs, based partially on the history (which we already have) with the ability to adjust, such as:
    - simulate a cost optimisation across specific workloads / projects / accounts of 10% per month over 3 months.
    - simulate deployment of new services at different times in the next year. e.g. we know we'll deploy a thing that costs $10k/month and grow to $20k over a few months.

  14. We are a group of companies sharing a common DoIT console space.
    Each company has a unique billing profile. Each company has one or more Google billing accounts associated with its billing profile.
    We need the administrators of each company to be able to view and configure their own invoices, billing profiles, etc., but not those of other companies.
    They currently have administrator privileges and can view and modify the invoices and all settings for all companies. We would like to associate administrator rights with a specific billing profile so that administrators can only view and modify what is linked…

    I would like to have flexibility with the different payment methods that a provider supports and thus be able to pay with the one that suits me best. I.g.: Japanese local payment methods such as JCB and Furikomi.

  19. Interactive UI, similar to CHT or Vantage that lets you click on a service and automatically show you the drill down if the consumption. In addition, the reporting shows your current consumption vs last months exact time frame.

  20. Today budget alerts are send when the actual percent of the budget is consumed. In order to reduce false alarms, it would be great if there would be an option to only send the alert if the projected cost of the budget will reach 100%.
    For example, if I have a budget alert set to 50% and the predicted spend will not reach 100% this month the alert will not be sent.
