  4. Hello Team,

    a large customer would like to be able to run analytics for large amount of data utilizing the complexity of Attributions Groups (with over 8 Attributions) while adding extra granularity on Label, Service, Account levels.

    Currently reporting struggles whenever the above use cases are being run - resulting in error messages and long running load times. It would be important to enable this complexity to fit the need of larger customers with more complex business structures.

  5. Hello Team,

    The customer would like to see their RI Fees broken down through the days of the month. Currently, RI Fee only shows up at the beginning of the month, or on the days where additional reservations happened, however, daily breakdown of those is not available.

    To monitor amortized cost, the customer needs to see quickly how the RI Fee looks like/ day.

  6. Got this question from a customer I think it is good idea to add chat capabilities somehow for our tickets :slightlysmilingface:

    "Is chat support available? I recently had a great experience with Pressable, the company that hosts our WP site. I had an issue moving a staging site to production with DNS, and the tech was able to help within a few minutes of chatting back and forth. I provided screenshots and a video of what was happening. Could your reps provide a similar experience?"

  7. adding "COUNT" to the metric so that it generates a value to be used in the formula.

    Example/Use-case: Creating an attribution with "Account/Project" with Regex (will automatically pick newly added projects that matches the Regex) and instead of returning the cost it returns the count/number of projects within the attribution.

    calculate all costs of production environments,
    (100k) and divide them by the amount of environments, (40), so that I get an average cost per environment (2500€). And then display this metric over time

  9. Most customer environment either as a value for the "Name" tag or in the resource name contain a piece of info about the deployment stage of that resource (i.e. "prod", "test", "sandbox").

    It would be great if we could have a default attribution that looks for "prod" string (case insensitive) in resource names and name tag values. Also another attribution that looks for "test" or "stage" or "sandbox". This 2 Attributions could then be combined in an Attribution group available to all customers by default.

    While not perfect, this opinionated approach is a start to allow customers to derive hierarchy…

Customer plans to enable SSO for their entity/specific domain, and would like to be able to automatically assign the proper DoiT Organization restriction to all users with this domain who sign in via SSO. Currently this assignment must be managed manually, which is complicated as the customer plans to invite a high number of users.

    I am writing to submit a feature request to address a critical issue we are facing with the management of AWS Root Account email notifications for multiple orgs under our management.

    Issue Summary:
    Currently, when we onboard subsidiaries and assign dedicated AWS Management Account Root email addresses, all notifications are being directed to the same mailbox. This setup results in important notifications being shared across subsidiaries, leading to potential security and privacy concerns.   12. The customer reports that there is something wrong with the cost anomaly tool, and that they are receiving false alarms every day.
    Because of this and the alert fatigue they plan to disregard Cost Anomalies moving forward, despite getting a lot of value from it in the past.

  13. We have set up Budgets in the DoiT console, and unfortunately, the alert notification isn't as complete as the existing AWS Budget with a breakdown of services.
    DoiT requires logging into the Console to view Budget Details, which is not that user-friendly for the following reasons:
    - The recipient requires access to the DoiT console.
    - To view the service breakdown, it requires investigating the budget and generating the report to view the usage breakdown.

  14. We recently had a request from a customer to get provider costs over slack similar to what Amazon Q provides on the AWS console but for slack.

    I think it would be great for customers to have the ability to tag AVA on their shared slack channel and ask questions such as:
    "How much have I spent on account xxxx in the past 30 days?"

Upon reviewing our usage statistics, we have noticed that there are numerous tables within our BigQuery environment that have been inactive for an extended period, some dating back more than three months. These unused tables are not only occupying valuable storage space but also incurring unnecessary costs for our organization.

  19. When setting up a report for email delivery, it would be nice if it could be set to include multiple chart options. As an example, to include both the stacked bar and chart option.

    Or to possibly include two reports in one email where they show the different chart types in the same email.

  20. I am writing to propose an enhancement to the BQ Lens feature within the DoiT Console. This suggestion stems from our recent experiences and challenges while trying to integrate BQ Lens into our systems at Froomle.

    Current Challenge:
    The BQ Lens feature currently requires granting organization-level permissions to DoiT for data sinking from all projects within an organization. This requirement is not compatible with our company’s security policies, which strictly adhere to the Principle of Least Privileges and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) protocols.
