  1. New legal requirements mean more companies need to report on the carbon footprint of their cloud usage. AWS' own tool is often incorrect, and Azure's is difficult to use plus it requires customers to go into PowerBI. Ideally this would be something Navigator could support in our own reporting view.

  2. Similar to Report Templates, customer would like to be able to create Dashboard templates. This would allow new teams to be able to quickly create dashboards that leadership has deemed to be related to KPIs.

  5. Customer is leveraging custom dashboards by team and would like to be able to use the Cost Anomaly widget to filter by the team specific attribution to only show Cost Anomalies by that specific team.

  7. Right now all Marketplace spend is grouped under a single line item on our GCP invoices but some months we have 40%+ of our bill in Marketplace spend. I'd like to be able to see all of the marketplace line items separately on the invoice.

  8. Right now, once the Cost anomalies get generated and assuming that is been investigated and understood the “why” that happen.

    Now Engineer from the customer wants to put some notes or annotate the reason for that particular cost so that other people in the organisation won’t ask the same questions, and have the context when that alert generated again.

    Can we add some capabilities to add Notes probably in the Navigator so that can be refer in the future.

  9. I would it look better if we added logos next to Lens? For example, AWS Lens :aws: and GCP Lens :gcp_new:. It's not a burning issue, but I believe it would enhance the appearance. Also, it will be helpful when you create Custom Dashboards as well. I see them on Home screen but not when we click on Dashboard tab. Thanks.

  10. Interactive UI, similar to CHT or Vantage that lets you click on a service and automatically show you the drill down if the consumption. In addition, the reporting shows your current consumption vs last months exact time frame.

  11. AWS has the option to pay for more updated data in Cost Explorer. When a customer already pays for this, they would like to see it available in Navigator reporting.

  12. Today budget alerts are send when the actual percent of the budget is consumed. In order to reduce false alarms, it would be great if there would be an option to only send the alert if the projected cost of the budget will reach 100%.
    For example, if I have a budget alert set to 50% and the predicted spend will not reach 100% this month the alert will not be sent.

  15. I want an alert whenever there's a daily spike of more than X $ in an aws account/gcp project. And I want that for all accounts, without specifying the account name. Meaning, if a new account/project is created, the anomaly alert will catch it.

  18. The customer wants to send scheduled reports to different Slack channels.

    For instance, they've created two separate reports: one covering data-related services like BigQuery, and another focusing on application-related services like GKE and GCE. They would like to send these reports to different Slack channels—specifically, the Data Team Channel and the Application Channel, respectively.

    Although Slack supports the channel email, it is only available for the Pro version.

  19. Customer Problem: Today we do not have any information about the below data:

    • Customers do not have the ability to filter the active anomalies that they have treated/seen vs where they still have to take an action .
    • How many customers are actually performing any action for the anomalies we generate for them,

    • Identifying the false positive and gather customers feedback so that we can improve the product

  20. Support direct integration with Snowflake so that

    Snowflake direct integration with DoiT Cloud Navigator so that customers can track their Snowflake spend along with their cloud spend in Cost analytics, dashboard and via Snowflake lens.

    With few simple steps, customers should be able to integrate their Snowflake with Doit Cloud Navigator and once data is available customers can track the Snowflake cost using Snowflake lens and cloud analytics reports. Some examples of such reports are:

    • Top warehouses by cost
    • Top database by storage cost
    • Cost by region
    • Cost by usage type
    • Cost by service
