  1. Building a MAP Migration tagging tool to assist in directions/ guidance using Ava to identify and tag MAP eligible workloads.

This would be displayed through a lens or dashboard to showcase - current tagged ARR to date, credits expected and credits received to date. I have sent pictures from a competitors tool that I can showcase. This has been a lead generator for competitors and would be very useful to help customers track their MAP tagged workloads and credits.

  2. Hello Bonjour dear Product Team,

I am reaching out to suggest an enhancement to the DoIT console that would greatly benefit large organisations with multiple BUs, particularly those that have grown through acquisitions.

    Issue Summary:
Currently, users must log in separately to each domain within the DoIT console to manage cloud resources and costs. This can be cumbersome for teams that oversee cloud management across various business units within a single company. The need to log out and log back in for each domain creates inefficiencies and complicates the management process.

    Desired Outcome:
We propose the implementation of a feature…

  3. Hi Team, would it be possible to add a "Test Alert" button for Cost and Budget Alerts. This allows customers to verify if the channel is working correctly without altering the logic of their alerts.

  5. Please enable the ability to attach and analyze images within Ava, particularly for internal usage with the Archon client where customers often attach documents and screenshots to tickets. Currently, Ava does not support attachments, leading to suboptimal responses when users attempt to get help with image-based content. For example, when users tried to have Ava describe screenshots, it failed to access the attachments, while other LLMs like ChatGPT and Claude handled the same task more effectively.

Given that the LLM backend (gpt-40) already supports image analysis, implementing this feature should be feasible. This capability would significantly improve Ava’s usability, especially…

  7. Hello la Product Team,

It would be very interesting to develop a feature that enables customers to prioritise their cost saving opportunities based on potential financial benefits and to assess these opportunities within an effort matrix for better decision-making alongside the Insight feature.

Feature => Cost savings evaluation tool:
It would be a complementary tool with Insights that allows customers to input data and receive an estimation of the financial benefits from the insights and recommendations provided.
The tool should be able to differentiate between savings, spend reduction, and cost avoidance.
The output should clearly indicate the monetary value associated…

  8. Dear Product Team,

I am reaching out to request the addition of a new feature that would greatly enhance the management capabilities within our customers' engineering teams.
I have a customer, he is an Engineering Manager, and he has encountered limitations in overseeing and managing the reports, dashboards, and alerts created by members of my team.

    Issue Summary:
Currently, there is no role or permission set that allows a manager or team lead to view, modify, or edit the reports, dashboards, or alerts created by other team members. This lack of oversight capability hinders effective team management and collaboration, as…

  9. Hello Product Team,

I am writing to submit a feature request to address a critical issue we are facing with the management of AWS Root Account email notifications for multiple orgs under our management.

    Issue Summary:
Currently, when we onboard subsidiaries and assign dedicated AWS Management Account Root email addresses, all notifications are being directed to the same mailbox. This setup results in important notifications being shared across subsidiaries, leading to potential security and privacy concerns. More context on the issue can be found in the related Zendesk ticket: https://doitintl.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/171678

    What is expected :
We would like a feature that…

  10. Hi Team,

would it be possible to have a summary in plain english of what is the expectations for my Alerts setup? Ideally a feature that looks at my Alerts configurations (both Budgets and Cost Alerts) and describes in plain english that I should receive an email when X happens, Y happens, etc. in a single pane of glass. It would be great to set expectations and avoid misconfigurations of customer alerts

  11. The customer reports that there is something wrong with the cost anomaly tool, and that they are receiving false alarms every day.
Because of this and the alert fatigue they plan to disregard Cost Anomalies moving forward, despite getting a lot of value from it in the past.

  12. Be able to ingest AWS Health events from the Master Payer Account and linked AWS accounts and show them in the Cloud Incident panel.

If possible, be able to read each customer's MPA email to extract any notifications we might come up with. eg: Abuse reports, Automated alerts sent via email

  14. We have set up Budgets in the DoiT console, and unfortunately, the alert notification isn't as complete as the existing AWS Budget with a breakdown of services.
DoiT requires logging into the Console to view Budget Details, which is not that user-friendly for the following reasons:
    - The recipient requires access to the DoiT console.
    - To view the service breakdown, it requires investigating the budget and generating the report to view the usage breakdown.

  15. Hi Team,

I'd like to propose a graphical enhancement to reports visualisation

    Issue Summary:
When using reports with 2-dimensional graphical chart types (Stacked Columns, Lines, etc) users infer the trends in their costs eyeballing the data as there's no trend (or regression) line describing visually how the data changed over time. This leads to reports lacking information and requiring extra steps to get to the desired information

    Desired Outcome:
A graphical aid that tells the user if the data is trending upwards or downwards and by how much in an intuitive manner

    Suggested Solution:
A linear (to keep it computationally…

  16. Upon reviewing our usage statistics, we have noticed that there are numerous tables within our BigQuery environment that have been inactive for an extended period, some dating back more than three months. These unused tables are not only occupying valuable storage space but also incurring unnecessary costs for our organization.
To address this issue proactively, we would like to explore the possibility of setting up a system where your team sends us periodic reminder emails whenever they identify tables that have been inactive for more than three months. This would enable us to review and determine whether these tables are…

  17. Issue: trying to query large and granular datasets from the Billing data source.
This is not possible without pagination since the rate limit and payload size limit are insufficient to do it in scale.
Pagination is already implemented in other endpoints in the analytics API but not in the endpoint that will be most affected by it.

  18. Can DoiT Navigator support amoritizing credits across the months they were used? For example, if a customer received credits in July that covered usage from all of Q2. Is it possible to distribute these historically with the amoritized cost metric?

  19. Currently it is not possible to assign a DoiT Organization to a new user when they are invited to Navigator. We propose the following changes:
    1. Make it clear which Organization is the "default" organization by using that term. The default Org should include all data for all clouds.
    2. Enable the selection of an Organization for new users in the "Invite new user" flow. Currently it is only possible to select their Role.
    3. Automatically add all Users to the default Organization unless they are moved to a different Organization.

  20. Deployment requires a Deployment_ID variable as an input parameter, but our docs are sparse on how and where to find that, also it's currently a manual process to get that, it'd be nice if it was deterministically generated id, which might help make automation from scratch easier without a manual process of manually looking up the dynamically generated input variable.
