  1. Customers often receive monthly subscriptions or charges for cloud services on the 1st of each month, such as Cognito, IAM Analyzer, or backups. These charges frequently trigger cost anomaly alerts, causing unnecessary panic and notifications in Slack channels or emails. Instead of treating these as cost anomalies, it would be more appropriate to classify them as 'Monthly Cost Awareness' or 'Monthly Charges by SKU,' as they are expected expenses rather than anomalies.

  2. just feedback on the cost anomaly feature on doit console: it is awesome!!
    we are using the API to pull the events and show them internally to the corresponding teams
    feature request: can we get some more critical fields on the api response
    we are missing mainly the status : is the alert still active or not
    idealy the end_date of an alert would be awesome, since you have that information and you show it on the UI

  3. Hello Team,

    the customer would like to be able to 'Pause' the process of running heavy reports which would allow last minute adjustments to be done within Group By/ Filter before the data loads.

    Running heavy reports takes time to load, and if any adjustments need to be done to Filtering or Group By they need to wait first until the heavy report loads before they can go back and adjust and re-load.

    A 'Stop' or 'Pause' button would help this.

  4. Issue: trying to query large and granular datasets from the Billing data source.
    This is not possible without pagination since the rate limit and payload size limit are insufficient to do it in scale.
    Pagination is already implemented in other endpoints in the analytics API but not in the endpoint that will be most affected by it.

  5. Building a MAP Migration tagging tool to assist in directions/ guidance using Ava to identify and tag MAP eligible workloads.

    This would be displayed through a lens or dashboard to showcase - current tagged ARR to date, credits expected and credits received to date. I have sent pictures from a competitors tool that I can showcase. This has been a lead generator for competitors and would be very useful to help customers track their MAP tagged workloads and credits.

  6. Hello Team,

    The customer would like to be able to Filter/ Group by 'Service Item' level, which would provide higher granularity than the existing 'Service', grouping the specific Service costs into subcategories that make more sense to FinOps teams than Service or SKU levels.

    On EC2 example, this would be sub categories such as:
    EC2 Compute, EC2 Transfer, EC2 NAT Gateway Usage etc.

    This granularity would be something that shows the cost specificities linked to a certain Service.

    Setting up these 'Service Items' would be extremely manual in Cloud Navigator within Attributions, hence it makes more convenient for the customer…

  7. Can DoiT Navigator support amoritizing credits across the months they were used? For example, if a customer received credits in July that covered usage from all of Q2. Is it possible to distribute these historically with the amoritized cost metric?

  8. We are a group of companies sharing a common DoIT console space.
    Each company has a unique billing profile. Each company has one or more Google billing accounts associated with its billing profile.
    We need the administrators of each company to be able to view and configure their own invoices, billing profiles, etc., but not those of other companies.
    They currently have administrator privileges and can view and modify the invoices and all settings for all companies. We would like to associate administrator rights with a specific billing profile so that administrators can only view and modify what is linked…

  10. Customer Problem:

    As a customer, I would like to be able to send notifications such as Cost Anomalies, invoices, quota monitoring, cloud incidents, etc., to Microsoft Teams public and private channels in a native way, similar to the functionality that exists today for Slack.

  12. Customer problem:

    Currently, to set up a subscription to a report, the configuration is done through a cron syntax, which is sometimes not very intuitive or easy to use. With this project, we want to improve and simplify the subscription process so that our customers don’t miss out on anything!

  14. Currently it is not possible to assign a DoiT Organization to a new user when they are invited to Navigator. We propose the following changes:
    1. Make it clear which Organization is the "default" organization by using that term. The default Org should include all data for all clouds.
    2. Enable the selection of an Organization for new users in the "Invite new user" flow. Currently it is only possible to select their Role.
    3. Automatically add all Users to the default Organization unless they are moved to a different Organization.

Deployment requires a Deployment_ID variable as an input parameter, but our docs are sparse on how and where to find that, also it's currently a manual process to get that, it'd be nice if it was deterministically generated id, which might help make automation from scratch easier without a manual process of manually looking up the dynamically generated input variable.

  16. Please enable the ability to attach and analyze images within Ava, particularly for internal usage with the Archon client where customers often attach documents and screenshots to tickets. Currently, Ava does not support attachments, leading to suboptimal responses when users attempt to get help with image-based content. For example, when users tried to have Ava describe screenshots, it failed to access the attachments, while other LLMs like ChatGPT and Claude handled the same task more effectively.

    Given that the LLM backend (gpt-40) already supports image analysis, implementing this feature should be feasible. This capability would significantly improve Ava’s usability, especially…

  18. Be able to ingest AWS Health events from the Master Payer Account and linked AWS accounts and show them in the Cloud Incident panel.

    If possible, be able to read each customer's MPA email to extract any notifications we might come up with. eg: Abuse reports, Automated alerts sent via email

  20. We recently had a request from a customer to get provider costs over slack similar to what Amazon Q provides on the AWS console but for slack.

    I think it would be great for customers to have the ability to tag AVA on their shared slack channel and ask questions such as:
    "How much have I spent on account xxxx in the past 30 days?"
