  1. Customer Problem:

    As a customer, I would like to be able to send notifications such as Cost Anomalies, invoices, quota monitoring, cloud incidents, etc., to Microsoft Teams public and private channels in a native way, similar to the functionality that exists today for Slack.

  2. Additionally, the DoiT budget report doesn't include taxes, while our AWS budget does. Could it be possible to customize the configuration to include taxes in the budget cost?

  3. We have set up Budgets in the DoiT console, and unfortunately, the alert notification isn't as complete as the existing AWS Budget with a breakdown of services.
    DoiT requires logging into the Console to view Budget Details, which is not that user-friendly for the following reasons:
    - The recipient requires access to the DoiT console.
    - To view the service breakdown, it requires investigating the budget and generating the report to view the usage breakdown.

  4. We recently had a request from a customer to get provider costs over slack similar to what Amazon Q provides on the AWS console but for slack.

    I think it would be great for customers to have the ability to tag AVA on their shared slack channel and ask questions such as:
    "How much have I spent on account xxxx in the past 30 days?"

  5. Customer is using the multi organizational features and would like for the admins to be able to create reports and share them to specific organizations with in their tenant. This would allow them to easily create reports for the individual org and share them out to the correct groups of users.

    I'd like to propose a graphical enhancement to reports visualisation

    Issue Summary:
    When using reports with 2-dimensional graphical chart types (Stacked Columns, Lines, etc) users infer the trends in their costs eyeballing the data as there's no trend (or regression) line describing visually how the data changed over time. This leads to reports lacking information and requiring extra steps to get to the desired information

    A graphical aid that tells the user if the data is trending upwards or downwards and by how much in an intuitive manner

  8. Salut la Product Team,

    I am writing to request an enhancement to the EKS Lens reporting feature within the [Your Cloud Management Platform Name].
    I have noticed (and I am not the only one) that in the cost reports generated by EKS Lens, there are instances where costs are labeled as "N/A," particularly in relation to the "EC2-Other" category.
    This label is not very convenient for understanding the allocation of costs and can lead to confusion when analysing customers' cloud expenditure.

Upon reviewing our usage statistics, we have noticed that there are numerous tables within our BigQuery environment that have been inactive for an extended period, some dating back more than three months. These unused tables are not only occupying valuable storage space but also incurring unnecessary costs for our organization.

  10. Customers often receive monthly subscriptions or charges for cloud services on the 1st of each month, such as Cognito, IAM Analyzer, or backups. These charges frequently trigger cost anomaly alerts, causing unnecessary panic and notifications in Slack channels or emails. Instead of treating these as cost anomalies, it would be more appropriate to classify them as 'Monthly Cost Awareness' or 'Monthly Charges by SKU,' as they are expected expenses rather than anomalies.

  12. Hello Team,

    The customer would like to be able to Filter/ Group by 'Service Item' level, which would provide higher granularity than the existing 'Service', grouping the specific Service costs into subcategories that make more sense to FinOps teams than Service or SKU levels.

    On EC2 example, this would be sub categories such as:
    EC2 Compute, EC2 Transfer, EC2 NAT Gateway Usage etc.

    This granularity would be something that shows the cost specificities linked to a certain Service.

    Setting up these 'Service Items' would be extremely manual in Cloud Navigator within Attributions, hence it makes more convenient for the customer…

  13. We are a group of companies sharing a common DoIT console space.
    Each company has a unique billing profile. Each company has one or more Google billing accounts associated with its billing profile.
    We need the administrators of each company to be able to view and configure their own invoices, billing profiles, etc., but not those of other companies.
    They currently have administrator privileges and can view and modify the invoices and all settings for all companies. We would like to associate administrator rights with a specific billing profile so that administrators can only view and modify what is linked…

  16. Customer problem:

    Currently, to set up a subscription to a report, the configuration is done through a cron syntax, which is sometimes not very intuitive or easy to use. With this project, we want to improve and simplify the subscription process so that our customers don’t miss out on anything!

  18. When a customer has overdue invoices, Navigator shows a top banner with a warning to all signed-in users: "Overdue and outstanding invoices - We are unable to renew your Cloud subscription. Please pay overdue invoices or you may not be able to use these services."

    A customer that has that banner while working with DoiT's teams to resolve the payment issue (transfers applied incorrectly to invoices, nothing overdue) suggested that the banner shouldn't be shown to all users or should be made configurable as it raises unnecessary repeated questions for them internally.
