  3. Cloud Diagrams are currently available only to AWS customers.

    Enabling GCP support will significantly expand the user base, covering almost all DCI users.

    Supporting both AWS and GCP will allow the creation of diagrams for cross-account links in heterogeneous environments—something that no one in the world currently supports.

  5. The Datadog direct integration allows customers to track their Datadog expenses alongside their cloud costs in DCI's cost analytics, or within a dedicated dashboard called Datadog Lens.

    With a seamless and user-friendly onboarding process, customers can quickly start benefiting from a unified console for cost tracking. They can also leverage DCI’s machine learning-based Anomaly Detection to spot any unexpected spikes or explore other FinOps features available on the platform.

  6. Can DoiT Navigator support amoritizing credits across the months they were used? For example, if a customer received credits in July that covered usage from all of Q2. Is it possible to distribute these historically with the amoritized cost metric?

  7. Currently it is not possible to assign a DoiT Organization to a new user when they are invited to Navigator. We propose the following changes:
    1. Make it clear which Organization is the "default" organization by using that term. The default Org should include all data for all clouds.
    2. Enable the selection of an Organization for new users in the "Invite new user" flow. Currently it is only possible to select their Role.
    3. Automatically add all Users to the default Organization unless they are moved to a different Organization.

  8. Deployment requires a Deployment_ID variable as an input parameter, but our docs are sparse on how and where to find that, also it's currently a manual process to get that, it'd be nice if it was deterministically generated id, which might help make automation from scratch easier without a manual process of manually looking up the dynamically generated input variable.

  9. When creating a Report, the default visibility is set to "private" in the console. Using the API (and TF provider), it would be nice to be able to set the visibility of the report.

  10. When accessing the Cloud Analytics report via the web console, I can easily see the account name. However, the graph included in the email report only shows the account ID. As a result, I need to open the report in the console to identify the account names.

    Would it be possible to include the account names in the email report alongside the account IDs?

  11. just feedback on the cost anomaly feature on doit console: it is awesome!!
    we are using the API to pull the events and show them internally to the corresponding teams
    feature request: can we get some more critical fields on the api response
    we are missing mainly the status : is the alert still active or not
    idealy the end_date of an alert would be awesome, since you have that information and you show it on the UI

  13. Hello Team,

    the customer would like to be able to 'Pause' the process of running heavy reports which would allow last minute adjustments to be done within Group By/ Filter before the data loads.

    Running heavy reports takes time to load, and if any adjustments need to be done to Filtering or Group By they need to wait first until the heavy report loads before they can go back and adjust and re-load.

    A 'Stop' or 'Pause' button would help this.

  16. Hello Team,

    Currently the customer needs to open the Insight page to see and review the optimization opportunities.

    It would be great to have Notification setup possible on freshly posted Insights within the customer's Navigator. The same fashion as for Cost Anomaly detection, where they can get notified via Slack for example.

  17. Every first day of the month a customer get a misleading info related to the daily digest.
    The problem is that we compare last month data to the current month and it takes 24 hours for the data to update.
    We need to add a warning message so customers can understand why there is a gap with the results.

    I am writing to request an enhancement to the DoIT console that would streamline the process of managing reports within dashboards.

    Issue Summary:
    At present, the DoIT console requires users to add reports to dashboards individually. This process can be time-consuming and cumbersome, especially for users who need to manage a large number of reports across various dashboards.

    Desired Outcome:
    I would like to see the introduction of a feature that allows users to add reports to dashboards in bulk, similar to how permissions and labels are currently managed within the console.

  19. Quensus would like to upload their own cost data sets to Navigator so that they can use Reports to get a complete picture of the full technical costs (cloud + other tools they purchase) of supporting each of their customers.

  20. Today, I can't scope an Alert to an attribution group — only attributions. However, I think there's a compelling use case.

    If I create an attribution group "Engineering Team" I might want to set an alert that then monitors for each individual team in that Attribution Group with the optional "Evaluate for each" setting. Today I can't do that. Instead I have to create an alert for each attribution.
