Understand Reservation Cost and usage in BiqQuery
We would like to be able to run reporting where we can understand the usage of BQ against the Reservations. This would allow us to have a more robust chargeback/showback.
2 votesThis idea has been shipped for more accurate cost estimates in BQ Reservations for Real-time Cost Anomalies. Implementing the reporting nuances is being handled via an FDE engagement and we will revisit how to bring this data in (if possible/plausible) with Sayle et al.

Swagger/OpenAPI Spec
Please publish a full Swagger/OpenAPI spec for your API so we can generate type-safe clients in a language of our choice. This makes the time to value much quicker with the API.

Allow us to restrict sign ins to SSO only
Allow us to restrict sign ins to SSO only.
1 voteThanks for your input, Gabriel!
We do exactly that once SSO is enabled.
Once SSO is enabled only admins can bypass SSO and sign-in with password (we allow admins to bypass it in order to prevent users from locking out everyone with a wrong SSO configuration).
We will add this information to the SSO UI and the Help Center docs to clarify this, thanks!

Lack of access to tickets
I'm extremely annoyed by the lack of access to all of my support ticket

customer domain
I noticed the customer's domain is no longer visible in the customer's profile and was replaced with just the customer name. Can we please put the domain in the dropdown menu for the customer? BizOps needs to be able to locate the domain everyday for audits, EUR, etc. and be able to copy/paste quickly. We already do a lot of manual work and this adds a couple more steps trying to locate it.

As a User, I want to be able to request a Workshop or Training but I struggle to find it.
I want a logical place to request services from DoiT to get deeper help with an AI project, improve my architecture, security, or spot hidden inefficiencies in my costs to improve my cloud operations. I should be able to do this from the same place where I can search my past support cases.
When I go to my past support cases,
Add an option for 'Professional Services' next to the “Create a request” button so I can get services without having to get in touch with my Account Manager.8 votes -
Show costs for VPC groups in Cloud Diagrams
Description:
Allow users to see the total aggregated cost of all resources within a VPC directly in the Costs tab of Cloud Diagrams.Requested Features:
Show total cost per VPC
Provide a breakdown by service type (e.g., EC2, RDS, ELB), similar to what’s shown in the Summary tab
Let users drill down from VPC to individual high-cost resources
Use Case:
Helps users understand which VPCs are driving costs across environments or teams and supports more effective budgeting and resource planning.Impact:
Improves cost transparency and makes it easier for FinOps and platform teams to monitor spending at the network level.2 votes -
User-Level Access Control for Cloud Diagrams
Customers would like the ability to restrict or allow access to Cloud Diagrams for specific users within their organization

Compare non-consecutive time periods in cloud analytics
The customer—specifically the person responsible for FinOps—would like the ability to compare specific time periods while excluding everything in between. For example, they want to compare June 2024 vs. June 2025, or Q2 2024 vs. Q2 2025, without including the months in between.
This is similar to the “this period vs. last month” view we currently offer, but they’re looking for a customizable comparison between non-consecutive timeframes—essentially, a way to isolate and break down specific months or quarters year over year.

Heatmap Visualization of Resource Costs in Cloud Diagrams
As a user, I want Cloud Diagrams to visually highlight resources based on their cost impact, so I can quickly identify the most expensive components in my environment. This will help prioritize cost optimization efforts by making high-cost areas easier to detect at a glance, especially in complex infrastructures.

Heavy EKS Diagrams Support for Large Kubernetes Clusters
Support large-scale K8s environments in Cloud Diagrams by optimizing layout and introducing hierarchical exploration. When clusters contain hundreds or thousands of workloads, the current visualization becomes overwhelming and difficult to interpret. This enhancement will:
* Display namespaces as the top-level abstraction in the diagram
* Allow users to drill down into individual namespaces to explore workloads, pods, services, and infrastructureUser Value: Enterprises running large EKS clusters need high-level overviews without sacrificing detail. This feature makes Cloud Diagrams scalable and usable for complex environments.
Requested By: Customers managing large Kubernetes environments who reported visual overload, performance lag, and difficulty navigating complex diagrams.

Split 'unallocated' costs by account
Customers with shared resource accounts that need to be split amongst business units (or some other allocation) need to create allocations for those accounts and then do cost splitting. This can get tedious for large customers.
Instead of requiring 100% coverage of allocations in order to do cost splitting, allow customers when using an allocation to split by account to re-allocate the costs for shared resources.

Ensure those with essentials contract can get a trial.
Customers on essentials or other entitlements that want a trial have to remove the essentials contract, otherwise the customer loses the trial entitlements daily. If the customer decides not to move to paid DCI, someone will need to remember to add a new essentials contract. We need to consider if trial contracts override any existing tier.

We want to add two console contract improvements
we want to show the expected margin on the contracts page to avoid looking at each contract. On the view contract screen, we want to add edit and download buttons so we don’t have to go back to a previous screen to navigate to that function.

SSL - DoiT Console / Onboarding
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): The impact of SSL on the DoiT Console has not been fully tested yet. Given the importance of encrypted communications, I would like to raise this feature request to UserVoice on behalf of our customer Autorola.
This way, we / the DoiT Product Team can evaluate and address it accordingly whether this is 1/ a straightforward fix or 2/ a more involved process.

Include threshold in budget email subject
When you send a budget threshold email, please put the percentage of the threshold in the subject. Always getting THRESHOLD EXCEEDED emails when the "threshold" is just 50%. The subject is very alarmist.
1 voteThanks for the great idea! We have implemented this and you should now see which threshold has been crossed in the email subject.

Add support for GCP in Cloud Diagrams
Cloud Diagrams are currently available only to AWS customers.
Enabling GCP support will significantly expand the user base, covering almost all DCI users.
Supporting both AWS and GCP will allow the creation of diagrams for cross-account links in heterogeneous environments—something that no one in the world currently supports.
