  1. I want a logical place to request services from DoiT to get deeper help with an AI project, improve my architecture, security, or spot hidden inefficiencies in my costs to improve my cloud operations. I should be able to do this from the same place where I can search my past support cases.

When I go to my past support cases,
Add an option for 'Professional Services' next to the “Create a request” button so I can get services without having to get in touch with my Account Manager.

  2. I want to schedule a Workshop with CREs, included with my DCI subscription, I should not have to go through the headache of a long contract process to get started.

When I go to Request a Workshop, I should be presented with Terms and Conditions so that we agree to the necessary customer, delivery and timeline expectations and acknowledge them.

Once I have agreed to the Workshop terms and conditions, my request should go directly to a CRE, not my account manager.

  3. I noticed the customer's domain is no longer visible in the customer's profile and was replaced with just the customer name. Can we please put the domain in the dropdown menu for the customer? BizOps needs to be able to locate the domain everyday for audits, EUR, etc. and be able to copy/paste quickly. We already do a lot of manual work and this adds a couple more steps trying to locate it.

  4. Once you connect to the console, say AWS CUR, you are not able to see those billing assets in console.

For example, if I connect my AWS CUR to DCI, in order to find that or see what is connected to DCI I have to go back to the AWS console. This is the same for Azure and GCP.

Ideally, there is a link to the cloud asset to it's easy to find, or it can easily to changed. For example, if I wanted to move from legacy CUR to CUR 2.0.

  5. When you connect any asset to the platform there is no way to manage or visualize that information.

For example, if I connect my CUR data to DCI. In order to find it I have to go back to the AWS platform and figure out which one is connected to it. The same goes for Azure and GCP.

Ideally, we provide links to the resource itself and simple ways to editing them. For example, if I wanted to change to CUR 2.0 instead of legacy CUR.

  6. On the "Insights coverage" popup (https://share.cleanshot.com/HNdfYdy8) I think it'd help to preview or link to the insights you would get were you to set up the appropriate permissions.

Whether it be a few examples, or links to our documentation or the cloud providers' that is more specific of the type of insights you'll start getting. Could help in cases with getting a customer to set it up.

Could be a tooltip or a link somewhere

  7. As this is quite a recurring topic, especially with our DCI Enterprise customers.

The idea would be to allow privileged users to access to both AWS programmatic access, and AWS web console access from the assets page.

Optionally, for specific cases, provide a Doer-eyes-only (CSOS) toggle to deny (default) or allow:
    - cost explorer
    - IAM
    - billing permissions.

  8. Currently, customers using the Doit console to purchase Microsoft 365 subscriptions or licenses are limited to monthly billing. Annual subscriptions require direct engagement with our sales team. This necessitates the creation of annual contracts, often for a small number of licenses, which consumes significant time in managing Ironclad and Salesforce for minimal revenue.

To improve efficiency, I propose enabling customers to purchase a limited number of Microsoft 365 licenses (e.g., fewer than 50) through our console with both monthly and annual billing options. This would significantly reduce the administrative overhead associated with low-volume annual contracts.

  9. A tool in the UI to manage CUDs / spend reservations. It’s currently fairly manual, and the out-of-the-box tools AWS and GCP provide don’t entirely help.
