  2. Hello Team,

    a large customer would like to be able to run analytics for large amount of data utilizing the complexity of Attributions Groups (with over 8 Attributions) while adding extra granularity on Label, Service, Account levels.

    Currently reporting struggles whenever the above use cases are being run - resulting in error messages and long running load times. It would be important to enable this complexity to fit the need of larger customers with more complex business structures.

  3. Hello Team,

    The customer would like to see their RI Fees broken down through the days of the month. Currently, RI Fee only shows up at the beginning of the month, or on the days where additional reservations happened, however, daily breakdown of those is not available.

    To monitor amortized cost, the customer needs to see quickly how the RI Fee looks like/ day.

  4. Hello Team,

    When running Stacked Column view for a report, the legend under the columns is separated into multiple 'pages' the customer need to click through to be able to interpret the report. In some cases, the customer has 20+ 'pages' of legend under the report due to the legends being spread too much on the screen.

    The customer would like to suggest the legends to be collapsed into bigger chunks under the Stacked Column view, so it is more user friendly to analyze Stacked Column reports.

  5. This is specific to how AWS RDS specifies the ARN of the instance vs the ARN of the cluster.

    When creating a Report in the console for RDS Aurora the cluster gets an ARN made up not of the cluster name, but of the cluster ID. The cluster ID is not obvious and must be searched in the AWS console or gotten via 2 API calls.
    It would be great if the DoiT console could automatically include the cluster ARN whenever an instance ARN is given, since the storage and backup SKUs (at least) are under the cluster ID ARN…

  6. Hello Team,

    One of the main priorities for the customer is to be able to amortize their reservation costs (OpenSearch) in this case. The customer went through CUR backfill and would like to be able to see those costs amortized.

    Currently this is not supported, and they will only be able to use amortized cost reporting going forward on their new data.

    The ask would be to enable Amortized Cost reporting on historical data, so the customer can benefit from this feature as soon as they get access to it within Navigator regardless the data being a historical backfill.

  7. Hello Team,

    The customer is lacking the functionality to combine multiple Metrics into one report to get overall cost views quicker and easier.

    At the moment, the customer needs to choose one specific Metric, and crate individual reports on that chosen Metric. The only way to get overview information on Savings, Amortized Cost, Amortized Savings. etc. is to bring those individual source reports to a Dashboard.

    Suggestion:

    Allow multiple Metrics to be included when creating a report for a better overview on specific costs. This would help to see all information on a specific Service for example, so all cost…

  8. If you're going to provide lambda/policy/eventbridge config to organize OUs automatically when FlexSave accounts are added to the org, you might as well provide some IAC (terraform/cloudformation) to deploy it.

  10. Can we consider a forecast that includes budget, actual spend and forecast all in one report? Customers will then have the ability to track their current spend, see the forecasted spend with budget mapped across both spend metrics.

    Customers should also have the option to filter forecasted and actual spend by service and attribution. Lastly the ability to create a growth factor by month/quarter to incorporate future projects in the forecast will be key for the majority of FinOps users

  12. New legal requirements mean more companies need to report on the carbon footprint of their cloud usage. AWS' own tool is often incorrect, and Azure's is difficult to use plus it requires customers to go into PowerBI. Ideally this would be something Navigator could support in our own reporting view.

  13. Make the forecast on the pulse and lens dashboards include tax and support.

    I'd like to propose a graphical enhancement to reports visualisation

    Issue Summary:
    When using reports with 2-dimensional graphical chart types (Stacked Columns, Lines, etc) users infer the trends in their costs eyeballing the data as there's no trend (or regression) line describing visually how the data changed over time. This leads to reports lacking information and requiring extra steps to get to the desired information

    Desired Outcome:
    A graphical aid that tells the user if the data is trending upwards or downwards and by how much in an intuitive manner

  17. Interactive UI, similar to CHT or Vantage that lets you click on a service and automatically show you the drill down if the consumption. In addition, the reporting shows your current consumption vs last months exact time frame.

  18. AWS has the option to pay for more updated data in Cost Explorer. When a customer already pays for this, they would like to see it available in Navigator reporting.

  19. Feature Request: Cloud Vendor Filtering
    This is just a suggestion - since we onboarded AWS (previously we only had GCP) it's gotten annoying to filter each cloud vendor when I want to look at it specifically.

    I'd suggest adding the option to filter cloud vendors (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc) somewhere else and not under the Filter drop-down menu.

    Doing these multiple clicks each time isn't very convenient.

  20. Customer wishes they could annotate reports in the console so they can mark which month eg. they made a specific change in their infrastructure. This way dips or spikes that were expected could be clarified in reports with a little note.
