  1. When accessing the Cloud Analytics report via the web console, I can easily see the account name. However, the graph included in the email report only shows the account ID. As a result, I need to open the report in the console to identify the account names.

    Would it be possible to include the account names in the email report alongside the account IDs?

  2. Customer would like to receive invoices that are in line with their split cost reporting, rather than broken down by account. They would like to be able to generate invoices that include % of shared costs like this have in this report.
    Eg. https://console.doit.com/customers/GnnFMff9PzV9jH1UueMA/analytics/reports/IZ9C0e3zL44ki0PZ0dES

    The only option for custom invoices is custom invoice buckets, which is still account-based meaning that accounts with split costs cannot be divided between different invoices.

  3. When I go to the Console, it requires that I log in again. I think it times out after a day. Other apps, including secure ones, allow much more time before timing out.

    Some apps are transactional, so you log in occasionally to perform specific tasks. But if we want to have a true "console" it needs to be convenient and available.

    Hello - this is our way to re-authenticate users who've been authenticated with SSO/Google/Microsoft periodically. The reason it is needed is because in case a user is removed from the SSO IdP/Google/Microsoft by the organization we don't want him to remain active in our Console.

  6. Customers have requested a tool that would help them to better forecast their costs, based partially on the history (which we already have) with the ability to adjust, such as:
    - simulate a cost optimisation across specific workloads / projects / accounts of 10% per month over 3 months.
    - simulate deployment of new services at different times in the next year. e.g. we know we'll deploy a thing that costs $10k/month and grow to $20k over a few months.

  7. Creating Ramp Plans for non resold commitments. We have a direct commitment with Google, and would be great if we can track our progress against the commitment in DoiT.

  8. Can we consider a forecast that includes budget, actual spend and forecast all in one report? Customers will then have the ability to track their current spend, see the forecasted spend with budget mapped across both spend metrics.

    Customers should also have the option to filter forecasted and actual spend by service and attribution. Lastly the ability to create a growth factor by month/quarter to incorporate future projects in the forecast will be key for the majority of FinOps users

  9. We should implement an easy way to open a ticket with a CRE from a cost anomaly page like we do with Insights.

    Just like a customer might want to review an Insight with a CRE to go over whether its relevant in the context of their business / strategy, a customer might want to troubleshoot an anomaly with a CRE.

    I’d bet there have already been situations where a customer opened a ticket to review a detected anomaly with a CRE.

    Could also be a good up-sell for Essentials customers as well, who have anomaly detection but don't have…

  10. Make the forecast on the pulse and lens dashboards include tax and support.

    I'm not sure it does that already and it always adds an extra large chunk on top of whatever was forecasted.

  11. Today, I can't scope an Alert to an attribution group — only attributions. However, I think there's a compelling use case.

    If I create an attribution group "Engineering Team" I might want to set an alert that then monitors for each individual team in that Attribution Group with the optional "Evaluate for each" setting. Today I can't do that. Instead I have to create an alert for each attribution.

  13. Eg. the month of October shows now only the actual spend and November is the forecast.
    Ideally, from a monitoring point of view, it would be nice if the month of October could be filled on top with the forecast to see it nicely per month.

  16. When we create projects in GCP, all projects that we create end up in the same billing bucket in the DoiT console. It would be great if we could set up some rules / configuration on the DoiT side to organize projects into different billing buckets based on the GCP project labels / tags. If that was possible, then it's easy for us to just label the projects we create appropriately in our Terraform. Lacking that, even enabling us to manage billing bucket project allocations via your REST API would be preferable to manually assigning projects.

  17. Finance teams from various organizations may require a different date format on their invoices than the default one.
    Please introduce an option for organizations to select different date formats before an invoice is issued.

  19. Hi, I'm wondering if there's a way for a feature request to see when alerts go off in doit Budgets (for example when an alert threshold is reached for a budget), this can send off a SNOW (service now) ticket and assign to the designated person.
