  1. DCI should be able to provide recommendations based on Anomaly status in the Anomaly acknowledgement flow.

One such use case is customer acknowledge an anomaly with: "No, this wasn't an anomaly" . System can check notification settings to see if this customer has configuration to suppress the anomalies based on severity or cost threshold. If not, we can make such recommendations to the customer or send notifications so that they can avoid such noise in the future.

  2. Hi team.
I’ve received feedback from several customers who are confused by the AWS bill explainer. Currently, the cost explorer shows two columns: one for the AWS bill, which is lower than the DoiT invoice ($110.4k vs. $118.6k). From the customer’s perspective, this discrepancy makes it seem like they are overpaying to use DoiT. The difference is causing confusion, especially since they understand that there is an SP delta in the calculation, but they struggle to fully grasp how the gap is determined. Customers are asking for a clearer and simpler way to understand the breakdown of their costs.

  3. Hello Team,

currently neither admin users can look up what Attributions have been set for anomaly detection - since it only exists on individual user level within Notification preferences.

It would be useful for admin users to be able to look into what attributions have been set for anomaly detection among the teams, or filter out for cost anomalies of specific attributions within the Anomaly page.

In addition, a filter option could be added to the Attribution page to be able to see which attributions have been clicked in for Anomaly Detection.

Such setting would be crucial for ENT super…

  4. Custom metrics don’t produce a “currency” value; it’s either a number or a percentage. Could we introduce a currency value for custom metrics like "GCP w/o Discounts"?

  5. I have a few customers who are requesting that we offer a chatbot or an ability to directly submit support tickets and manage them through Slack. They had this feature at their last partner and it made it very easy for them to communicate and update support tickets.

  6. When a customer selects to have split invoices for every AWS MP purchase, it will recognize Claude as a MP purchase and create separate billing for multiple services under Claude when in reality it should just come under the usage.

  7. Some companies have compliance/security concerns with granting organization-level-permissions, so I'm proposing that DoiT allows customers to be able to grant the necessary permissions for the DoiT Console at the folder-level. This would allow for additional flexibility for those customers that would like to leverage the full functionality of BQ Lens for specific projects while maintaining their organization's established security/compliance policies.

  8. Hi Team, would it be possible to include a COUNT aggregation similar to spreadsheets? the objective would be to identify in a report, how many individual values the report returned. For example, if I'm on AWS and I'm using AWS Workspaces, I would like to pull a report that is based exclusively on the "Resource" dimension and provides me how many unique values (i.e. how many unique resources, in this case) contributed to the metric (by default it's cost but could be any other metric we use)

  12. I'd like to be able to see audit logs for report changes (create, edit, delete) with delta as to what was changed when saved. For example I have a situation where we have dashboards that show different reports, and some of the reports are inaccessible - because they were deleted. Considering we had a holiday season and as we came back we don't remember doing it - it would be helpful to understand who did it to confirm if it's not needed anymore. Just one immediate example. Another one is that we're using the reports for creation of billing invoices…

  13. Not sure if this would be feasible, but when creating an Attribution, we can only use data from the "Billing Data" source.

What if we can also create attributions from different data sources, such as "BQ Lens"?

  15. When accessing the Cloud Analytics report via the web console, I can easily see the account name. However, the graph included in the email report only shows the account ID. As a result, I need to open the report in the console to identify the account names.

Would it be possible to include the account names in the email report alongside the account IDs?

  17. Customer would like to receive invoices that are in line with their split cost reporting, rather than broken down by account. They would like to be able to generate invoices that include % of shared costs like this have in this report.
    Eg. https://console.doit.com/customers/GnnFMff9PzV9jH1UueMA/analytics/reports/IZ9C0e3zL44ki0PZ0dES

The only option for custom invoices is custom invoice buckets, which is still account-based meaning that accounts with split costs cannot be divided between different invoices.

  18. Hello Team,

The customer would like to have the ability to present the K8S costs by rollouts and not only by deployments.

Currently, the kube-state-metrics doesn't natively export metrics for custom resources (CRDs) in the same way it does for Kubernetes native resources like Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, etc.

It would be important to get another layer of granularity that would allow to analyze EKS costs based on rollouts.

  19. Add ability to add/set/paste any email address into Budget's settings, so DoIT customers will not need to enroll this email address as user in DoIT platform and no need to manage permissions etc. Just please make the same as in AWS Bugdets, where any email can be specified and thats all.

  20. Hello Team,

the product currently provides preset metric on EKS Capacity Utilization which measures the utilization of resources across Amazon EKS clusters. However, there is no metric, or widget that would tell the customer the 'un-used compute within the Allocated nodes.

It would be great to have this quick visibility to overview the Allocated EKS layers.
