Stripe: create new process to save money, time and mistakes
As part of our efforts to streamline processes, one of the key projects finance started working on is optimizing Stripe process.
When customers choose to pay by credit card, the payment is processed through Stripe.Current Situation:
Currently, three different entities exist within Stripe, categorized by currency.
This setup creates challenges in the reconciliation process since payments in Stripe are made across all entities and days of reconciliation.Project Goals & Status:
Led by Moshe, we have started creating dedicated entities within Stripe.
We need to establish a process within DoiT that ensures payments are allocated to the correct Stripe…1 vote -
Reduce the 30-day detection period for Flexsave RDS
Customers find the 30-day detection period for Flexsave RDS to adjust and deploy RI too long for their operations. They are requesting for the product team to look into shortening this detection period.

Feature Name: ROI Visibility in DCI Dashboard
Problem Statement:
Customers and account teams are looking for clear, data-driven insights into the return on investment (ROI) of their cloud optimizations. However, demonstrating this value currently requires manual effortProposed Solution:
Enhance the DCI dashboard by introducing key ROI-focused KPIs that provide quick visibility into the customer’s value realization. These metrics would help both customers and account teams track tangible benefits over time.Suggested KPIs:
Total Savings Since Onboarding – Aggregated cost savings from Flexsave, PPA, PLES, and other optimizations.
Operational Efficiency Gains
Number of support tickets resolved
Account-specific CSAT trends
Time saved through automation and workflow improvements

Invoice Bucket
Hi,
Search for projects/accounts in invoice bucket.
If invoice bucket is having more than 6 accounts it is not possible to search it easily (control+F) as the bucket will be closed and collapsed.1 vote -
Multiple cost anomaly alerts if the cost of the anomaly is rising
Customers would like to have the option to receive multiple notifications (cost anomaly notification) on cost anomalies once the initial one is detected, but costs keep rising.
Eg. if the cost anomaly is detected at $1000, the customer would like to see additional notifications sent out if the cost anomaly rises even further (after certain thresholds).1 vote -
Filter cost per container in EKS Lens and reports
Currently, it is impossible to filter sidecar in EKS due to limitations in kube-state-metric regarding container-specific metrics.
Customers would like to have this level of granularity in EKS Lens and reports.2 votes -
Store report configuration in the browser URL
I often explore data in reports, tweaking the filters and groups etc. I run into issues with that:
- I can't easily share the report with someone else. I'd have to save it, but I don't want to keep it around forever. Instead I take a screenshot, but it's not interactive.
- If I close the tab and re-open it, my changes are gone. Same thing if the tab reloads for some reason.

Have the DCI UI generate CLI and API commands
When you create some object in the DCI UI also create CLI or API code in a side panel. This would make it easier to generate code to automate processes. An even better outcome would be is if Ava could be auto-prompted by the creation of some object where it generates a template of code based on the UI logic to be automated.

"Limit by value" should have an option to aggregate remaining costs
"Limit by value" should have an option to aggregate remaining costs just like the "Limit by top/bottom" does. Otherwise the total cost does not add up as expected.

Analytics to show Flexsave savings & EDP discounts separately
At present, if a customer has an EDP the discounts are combined with Flexsave in Flexsave Negation for eligible services such as EC2, ECS etc - customers are increasingly asking to separate the EDP from FS so they can see each individually - do we have any plans to put this functionality into the system? thanks

Detailed alerts notifications on additional slack channels
Today, the template used to notify custom alerts threshold does not contain enough details for a customer to be actionable and useful. The customer ideally wants the same level of information than the cost anomalies notification on the main slack channel

AI fueled insights based on cloud logs
Cloud infrastructure has a huge number of logs (AWS CloudWatch Logs / AWS CloudTrail / AWS VPC Flow Logs / GCP Cloud Logging / GCP Audit Logs). These include an enormous amount of rapidly changing information, often repeating errors that might have appeared and no one noticed. We could utilize our capabilities in cloud infrastructure and AI to highlight insights, and even offer suggestions on how to fix issues, based on the content of these logs.
- Cloud environments generate millions of log entries per day. The sheer volume makes it impossible for engineers to manually review logs effectively.
- A significant…

SSO Group Permissions pushed to data access in DCI
I got some customer feedback that has AWS IAM access groups baked into SSO that gives them access to data in CloudHealth based on those permissions. The customer would want to be able to use those permissions to tell DCI what access to billing data they should get. For example, if there is a Dev group that only has access to one project/account, use the IDP permissions to only give them access to billing data related to that account. When people come and go from the org this helps scaling access to data, while not having to manually create /…

Right-sizing Serverless Workloads
PerfectScale is making right-sizing Kubernetes workloads a breeze. Cloud companies (including Doit) have a lot of their workloads in serverless technologies as well, AWS Lambda and ECS/Fargate, GCP Functions and CloudRun. The basic principle is very similar, looks at the CPU/Memory/GPU/Network usage of the workload, and adjust configuration as needed.
Cloud companies heavily rely on serverless and containerized workloads such as AWS Lambda, AWS ECS/Fargate, GCP Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run. These platforms promise automatic scaling and flexibility, but in reality, workload sizing presents significant challenges:
- Many companies allocate excessive resources (CPU, memory, GPU) out of fear of performance bottlenecks.…

Improve Insights API / CRE UI to enable semi-automated submissions by CREs
Hi,
I think it would be great for customers and CREs alike if CREs could, quickly and seamlessly, create multiple Custom Insights based on findings from deep technical dive meetings they hold with customers.
A pilot use case I had in mind is Technical Kick-Offs (TKOs): These are multi-hour engagements that comprehensively cover the customer's architectural design as it involves walking through a long check-list of things to ask about. I have a CSI board task set up (https://doitintl.atlassian.net/jira/core/projects/CSI/board?selectedIssue=CSI-1507&text=insights) which describes the following workflow I'd like to build that, if enabled by an upgrade to the Insights API…

A color picker for reports
How about a color picker allowing us to change the color scheme in the reports?
I'm sure we all have separate dashboards that would benefit from consistency in the color scheme, or that we transition from former dataviz tools and would be glad to find the same colors here. Or that some of us simply would prefer another scheme.
Anyway, while not critical of course, that would make my life easier.

Managing CUDs / spend reservations
A tool in the UI to manage CUDs / spend reservations. It’s currently fairly manual, and the out-of-the-box tools AWS and GCP provide don’t entirely help.
