  1. Hello Team,

    The customer would like to see their RI Fees broken down through the days of the month. Currently, RI Fee only shows up at the beginning of the month, or on the days where additional reservations happened, however, daily breakdown of those is not available.

    To monitor amortized cost, the customer needs to see quickly how the RI Fee looks like/ day.

  2. We would like to be able to get alerts either monthly or quarterly alerting us to how we are pacing toward our EDP Commitment. It would be helpful information to allow customers the visibly into potential shortfall that was automatically being sent out.

  3. Hi, I'm wondering if there's a way for a feature request to see when alerts go off in doit Budgets (for example when an alert threshold is reached for a budget), this can send off a SNOW (service now) ticket and assign to the designated person.

  4. Customer plans to enable SSO for their entity/specific domain, and would like to be able to automatically assign the proper DoiT Organization restriction to all users with this domain who sign in via SSO. Currently this assignment must be managed manually, which is complicated as the customer plans to invite a high number of users.

  5. This is an idea for all lenses

    Add a "Contact an <Lens> Expert" button to all Lenses dashboards that would automatically open a CRE ticket with all relevant context.

    For example the GKE Lens should have a "Contact a GKE Expert)
    This way customers have better experience and quick access to our CRE team

  6. Most Google customers do not have BQ export enabled for their direct / other partner billing accounts. The few who do, usually have only the standard BQ export options. Importing historical data makes the Navigator more useful faster and enables customers to compare their better new DoiT pricing with their older pricing. Allow customers to import all types of BQ exports and not just the new detailed schema which most customers do not use.

  7. Customer would like to have the ability to rename their AWS assets from the DoiT Cloud Navigator.
    They understand that it would technically be easier to edit these directly in each account's AWS Console, but they work in a decentralised fashion with several different teams/companies managing each of these accounts, making it very difficult for them to edit these in practice, so they would like to have the ability to change/rename their AWS assets from the DoiT Cloud Navigator.

  12. Please make it possible to rename the slack connect channel.

    The slack channel for notifications was automatically created and added to our organization as a shared slack connect channel. The name of this channel is just our company name, so it is really hard to see that this channel is actually related to doit

    Usually our slack connect channels have the name of both companies so you can immediately see which partner organization the channel belongs to

  14. Got this question from a customer I think it is good idea to add chat capabilities somehow for our tickets :slightlysmilingface:

    "Is chat support available? I recently had a great experience with Pressable, the company that hosts our WP site. I had an issue moving a staging site to production with DNS, and the tech was able to help within a few minutes of chatting back and forth. I provided screenshots and a video of what was happening. Could your reps provide a similar experience?"

  15. Hello Team,

    The customer is lacking the functionality to combine multiple Metrics into one report to get overall cost views quicker and easier.

    At the moment, the customer needs to choose one specific Metric, and crate individual reports on that chosen Metric. The only way to get overview information on Savings, Amortized Cost, Amortized Savings. etc. is to bring those individual source reports to a Dashboard.

    Suggestion:

    Allow multiple Metrics to be included when creating a report for a better overview on specific costs. This would help to see all information on a specific Service for example, so all cost…

    A service/feature designed to proactively notify customers about important updates and news related to their specific cloud services: this could include notifications about service advisories (such as deprecations, price or limit changes), breaking changes, training opportunities, and other critical information. The notifications would be filtered based on the services the customer uses and may require customer acknowledgment for important updates, similar to what we have on “Insights” or “Cloud Incidents”.
    This could serve as a communication distribution tool for CEP101.

  17. Customers often receive monthly subscriptions or charges for cloud services on the 1st of each month, such as Cognito, IAM Analyzer, or backups. These charges frequently trigger cost anomaly alerts, causing unnecessary panic and notifications in Slack channels or emails. Instead of treating these as cost anomalies, it would be more appropriate to classify them as 'Monthly Cost Awareness' or 'Monthly Charges by SKU,' as they are expected expenses rather than anomalies.

  18. Issue: trying to query large and granular datasets from the Billing data source.
    This is not possible without pagination since the rate limit and payload size limit are insufficient to do it in scale.
    Pagination is already implemented in other endpoints in the analytics API but not in the endpoint that will be most affected by it.

  19. We are a group of companies sharing a common DoIT console space.
    Each company has a unique billing profile. Each company has one or more Google billing accounts associated with its billing profile.
    We need the administrators of each company to be able to view and configure their own invoices, billing profiles, etc., but not those of other companies.
    They currently have administrator privileges and can view and modify the invoices and all settings for all companies. We would like to associate administrator rights with a specific billing profile so that administrators can only view and modify what is linked…
