  1. Customers often receive monthly subscriptions or charges for cloud services on the 1st of each month, such as Cognito, IAM Analyzer, or backups. These charges frequently trigger cost anomaly alerts, causing unnecessary panic and notifications in Slack channels or emails. Instead of treating these as cost anomalies, it would be more appropriate to classify them as 'Monthly Cost Awareness' or 'Monthly Charges by SKU,' as they are expected expenses rather than anomalies.

  2. Every project that was billed in an invoice should stay as is in the reports, regardless of the current sate of the billing profile and accounts/projects assigned to.

    Currently, when using the "Invoice" chip, one needs to select the invoice bucket/billing profile. If a project/account has been removed in the meantime, even when selecting time range when project/account xxx was present - it does not show in the report, as the Invoice filter takes into account only projects/account already present in the billing prifle/invoice bucket

  3. They would like the ability to set default sharing settings for all of their Cloud analytics reports. For instance they would want to have have view-only sharing settings be the default for all user-created custom reports.

  4. Similar to Report Templates, customer would like to be able to create Dashboard templates. This would allow new teams to be able to quickly create dashboards that leadership has deemed to be related to KPIs.

  7. I am writing to propose an enhancement to the BQ Lens feature within the DoiT Console. This suggestion stems from our recent experiences and challenges while trying to integrate BQ Lens into our systems at Froomle.

    Current Challenge:
    The BQ Lens feature currently requires granting organization-level permissions to DoiT for data sinking from all projects within an organization. This requirement is not compatible with our company’s security policies, which strictly adhere to the Principle of Least Privileges and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) protocols.

  9. Add ability to add/set/paste any email address into Budget's settings, so DoIT customers will not need to enroll this email address as user in DoIT platform and no need to manage permissions etc. Just please make the same as in AWS Bugdets, where any email can be specified and thats all.

  10. Hello Team,

    the product currently provides preset metric on EKS Capacity Utilization which measures the utilization of resources across Amazon EKS clusters. However, there is no metric, or widget that would tell the customer the 'un-used compute within the Allocated nodes.

    It would be great to have this quick visibility to overview the Allocated EKS layers.

  11. When running a report with a specific label, report results no longer include Flexsave Negation.

    It was found that discounts (ex. Flexsave negation) cannot be tagged. Hence, the report only pulls the cost and not the savings.

    It is important to be able to see savings at a more granular level and to include labels. See ticket 233101 for additional details.

  12. If you're going to provide lambda/policy/eventbridge config to organize OUs automatically when FlexSave accounts are added to the org, you might as well provide some IAC (terraform/cloudformation) to deploy it.

  13. adding "COUNT" to the metric so that it generates a value to be used in the formula.

    Example/Use-case: Creating an attribution with "Account/Project" with Regex (will automatically pick newly added projects that matches the Regex) and instead of returning the cost it returns the count/number of projects within the attribution.

    calculate all costs of production environments,
    (100k) and divide them by the amount of environments, (40), so that I get an average cost per environment (2500€). And then display this metric over time

  15. Most customer environment either as a value for the "Name" tag or in the resource name contain a piece of info about the deployment stage of that resource (i.e. "prod", "test", "sandbox").

    It would be great if we could have a default attribution that looks for "prod" string (case insensitive) in resource names and name tag values. Also another attribution that looks for "test" or "stage" or "sandbox". This 2 Attributions could then be combined in an Attribution group available to all customers by default.

    While not perfect, this opinionated approach is a start to allow customers to derive hierarchy…

  16. Google provides a an API to access SKU Groups such as "Standard On-Demand VMs" or "Cloud Storage".

    By having Attributions (and further an overall Attribution Group), we could easily analyse spend based on these. It would be extremely helpful when preparing for GCP Commitments.

  17. Customer would like to be able to adjust reports vertically to make some reports larger in a dashboard. They would also like to display a single number, such as a health metric or total cloud cost, in a widget in a custom dashboard. This would make the dashboard tool more user-friendly and visually appealing.

  18. We would like to be able to get alerts either monthly or quarterly alerting us to how we are pacing toward our EDP Commitment. It would be helpful information to allow customers the visibly into potential shortfall that was automatically being sent out.

  19. This is an idea for all lenses

    Add a "Contact an <Lens> Expert" button to all Lenses dashboards that would automatically open a CRE ticket with all relevant context.

    For example the GKE Lens should have a "Contact a GKE Expert)
    This way customers have better experience and quick access to our CRE team
